Independent Educational Evaluations

When a student needs an objective perspective on their behavioral and functional needs, an Independent Educational Evaluation can provide valuable insight to help guide educational planning. As a BCBA, evaluations focus on areas within the scope of applied behavior analysis and may help schools better understand how behavior, communication, and skill development impact a student’s access to learning.

Evaluations may include:

  • Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs)

  • Behavioral and skill assessments

  • Functional communication assessments

  • Adaptive and daily living skill assessments

  • Direct observation across relevant settings

  • Review of educational records and existing assessments

  • Individualized recommendations for behavioral and educational supports

IEEs are designed to provide schools with objective, practical, and evidence-based recommendations that can be incorporated into a student’s educational programming and support plan.
